These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FamilyHub regarding your use of the FamilyHub mobile application and related services.

The Service is designed to help families organize tasks, plan meals, manage shopping lists, and stay connected through optional location sharing.

By accessing, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create a family account. Users under 16 may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has created the account.

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing:

4.3 Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store subscription settings

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use location tracking to stalk or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Impersonate others or access accounts that don't belong to you

6. Termination

6.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion:

  • Your access to the Service will be terminated immediately
  • Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

  • Access Controls: Role-based permissions ensure users only access appropriate data
  • Privacy: Your family data is private and isolated - only your family members can access it

4.3 Third-Party Services

FamilyHub uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database & authentication (Privacy Policy)
  • Expo: App framework & push notifications (Privacy Policy)
  • App Stores: Apple App Store and Google Play Store handle subscription billing

5. Your Rights

5.1 Access Your Data

You can view all your data directly in the app. For a complete data export, contact us through our feedback form.

5.2 Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

5.3 Update Your Data

You can update your personal information directly in the app at any time.

5.4 Opt-Out of Location Tracking

Disable location sharing in your app settings at any time without affecting other app features.

5.5 Children's Privacy

FamilyHub complies with COPPA and GDPR for children. Parents must create accounts and add children to the family. We only collect information necessary for app functionality and do not use children's data for advertising.
